Pump! :D

I finally bought the pump, it's used... but it's still clean, she only used it for a month and the lady gave me the sterile cleaning kit, and the storage bags. All of these for 30 bucks :D yay... if I buy new from the store it cost me 200-ish bucks. Anyway.. so we will clean and sterile the pump before I use 'em.

Wohoo.. now I don't need to worry about going back to work and pumping dilemma.

Onesie for fun

I made this onesie just for fun :D heheheheh

Can you read that??!! :P hahahah "My Daddy's a Better Programmer Than Your Daddy" hihihihi.. I think I might make one "My Mommy is the Coolest Graphic Designer Ever"

BabyCenter.com July 07 Central Iowa Mommies

Tonight, I went to Outback Steakhouse with the babycenter.com central Iowa mommies. We had a blast! but the driving wasn't fun since it was raining so hard. We ate and we got 50% off because all the food were too well done (my steak was pretty much burnt).

And then we did a gift exchange, I got another gift from Em, she lives in ames and we already kinda did a gift exchange before :D. I also made those babycenter baby onsies for everyone who came.

From BabyCenter Ju...

32 Weeks

And yes... I do have stretchmarks... I jinx it :( but it's okay... they're motherhood love marks :D

Girly Subject

To pump or not to pump :D

Actually that's not the real question. My question is do I need a manual or electric pump? single or double. Since I'm going back to work after the baby born. But I will be working part time.. which I will be away only 4 hrs per day max. So I guess I won't be using the pump that much, am I right? Maybe I can pump at night and freeze 2 bottles for the next day while I'm at work.

Okay seriously... experience moms please help me..

I guess I still have plenty of time to decide since I won't be back to work till October and maybe we'll see how's the breast feeding goes.

Interesting Gift

Today I received some gifts from my boss' wife. One of the interesting gift that I got is this what they called 'Moby Wrap' I think this wrap is very interesting. More like back to basic, where you actually use a piece of fabric to hold your baby. Yet when I went to the website I found out this thing is expensive.

Here is the instruction how to use the wrap.

I really think this will be useful and more comfortable. We'll see...

Letter to Carissa

Dearest My Baby Girl Carissa,

It's amazing how we already love you since the first time we know that we conceived you. As time passed by, we saw you on the screen kicking and punching for the very first time in my belly.. I cried.. not cried because of sad, but cried for happiness. You're such a blessing and a miracle from God.

The only thing that I wish for from you, is that you will grow up strong and healthy. Be a good girl to your parents and grandparents. Love your family and respect other people.

We love you so much and we want nothing but the best for you. We will try to be the best parents for you and give you the education that you need. I pray that you will be as smart as your dad and as creative as your mom. :)

We love you baby girl, and we can't wait to see you.

Love always,
your mom.

Baby Shower Finale

Today I went to Des Moines, for my second baby shower. The baby shower was hosted by Carson's aunt, it was a beautiful shower... no cheesy games.. The games were awesome, even though I didn't win the first two. It was realy fun, Carissa got a lot of presents.. when I say alot.. it means ALOT. After opening the presents we ate good food.. and yummy cake!! I bet I gained more weight today :D.

Here are some pictures from the shower. Once again thank you everyone, I bet Carissa will love all the presents that you guys gave her.

31 Weeks Ultrasound

Our baby still a girl, and she weighs 4.2 lbs now. HAH! that's not a tiny baby :D heheheh she's growing healthy and everything is perfect (that's what the dr. & u/s technician said).

But she was sleeping the whole u/s, so not so much kicking and punching like the first u/s. She already has hair on her head and she's a camera shy. She covered her face most of the time.

Anyway.. everything is excellent! :) Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Big Ultrasound Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow, we will see our baby girl again. Hopefully she still a girl :D (hey you never know, who knows the u/s technician was wrong) :P hehehehehe

I'm so excited to see our baby girl again. I will post the u/s pictures tomorrow and we might video tape it again.

So... just be patience! :)

Mother's Day Gift for Momma

Look what I gave for mama as the very first mother's day presents! STRETCH MARKS!! *dun dun dun dunnnnnnnn * (scarry movie sounds fx)

hihihihihi *chuckles*

My room is complete!

I finally bought a changing table from the craigslist only for 40 bucks (My first mother's day present from Carson). It's still in a very nice condition and very clean! :) Since we already got the diaper champ from Mel & Oke. So we're officially done. :D Let me see how much total that we personally spent.

Crib: mom & dad bought it for us
Glider: $30
Changing Table: $40
Blanket: $15
Diapers Stacker: $6
Swing: $25.00
Previous expenses: $85.95

Total Expenses: $201.95 (WOOHOOO our budget was $500). Thanks everyone!!!!

30 Weeks (10 more to go)

Still no stretch marks...!!! *keep on praying* so there will be no stretch mark till the end... AMEN :P

Diaper Stacker

Believe it or not, I made this in 4 hrs! :P hahahah no pattern and no sewing machine. :P hahahah only my imagination and my needle and thread. :) I guess the size is bigger than average diaper stacker, but I think it's better to store more than less! :). It cost me about $6 bucks to make this, while if you purchase it from the store it will cost you at least 17 bucks.

Additions to the baby room

We finally got the glider/rocker chair + the ottoman only for 30 bucks :P hehehehehe but we had to drive to Madrid to pick them up. It's worth it! :)

Also, I finished the blanket (the one on the crib)!!! :) so proud of myself! So now the only thing that we need is the changing table. After that we're ready for Carissa!! :)

I love you baby carissa

Baby Shower Invitation

Yay I got the baby shower invitation in the mail today!! isn't it cute!!! :) so if you know me and for some reason you haven't attend any of my baby showers yet and haven't got the invitation... let me know... so I can invite you :D heheheheh

29 Weeks - 11 more to go!

These days she likes to roll around rather than kicking... she kicks once in a while.. but she rolls most of the time. I think she'll be a really active baby. Good thing that her schedule is match with mine. She's active when I'm at work (which is actually not good) but at least she sleeps when I sleep. :) so that's a good thing.
