Carissa and Daddy's project for Halloween:

Since yesterday now I can't let her lay on the floor by herself. Once I put her down, she will rollover right away. But she doesn't like being on her belly, so she will get upset and needs help to roll back.

She tried to "crawl" but ended up her legs flying every where. hehehehehe.

After reading one of my fellow blog-a-holic friends about how she just found a picture of her with her grandpa and she wished that she made videos of him. So, since I don't even have any videos when I was a kid and I wished my mom/dad did. I decided to bring our camcorder wherever we go now. Tomorrow I might buy a box to put all of her stuff in it, including a copy of this blog, pictures, videos, etc.

Anyway here are some pictures from the weekend, I taped more than taking pictures. Oo and she decided to rollover today after we got back home. I'm so proud of her...

We just went back from grandma & grandpa house, and look what she can do. :)

It works! yay it works!!! We've been struggling with cradle cap in the past months. I tried Baby Oil, it didn't work. So I read from babycenter, it suggested using Olive Oil (or any natural oil) rub & massage her scalp. After that brush her hair with a very fine comb, leave it for 10-15 mins. Shampoo her hair throughly, leave the shampoo for few minutes to break in the oil because if we leave the oil on her scalp that will clog her hair pores. So I washed her hair twice with mild shampoo, and voila!!! bye bye cradle cap!!! :)

I'm so happy :D. There's still left but I will do it again tomorrow.
Ok gotta go.. baby calling mommy :)

I have no idea why she likes to do this position now, and seems like she always try to roll over these days but her other hand is still in her way. My baby is getting bigger and bigger each and every day!! :)

Here's the picture from the company dinner, Emma is almost 7 months old she's half japanese and half turkish :) Isn't she adorable!! :)

Yesterday she went with me to Target and she's doing fine and she even fell asleep on the way back. Since she was so good at Target, I got her some toys :) and by the way she already good at grabbing, holding, and putting stuff into her mouth :)

Today we went to my company dinner and she's actually did pretty good. She was alert the whole time but she's fine. She took her bottle while we were waiting for our food. So proud of her being such a good baby :).

Well.. since I don't really want to bring Carissa to a photo studio this age, so I decided to play 'photo time' with my baby. Here are some best shots of her, I need to edit more.. but I think these are pretty cool :D and free. So if you want me to print out 8x10 or 5x7, please let me know.

Grandma, grandpa, auntie erica, and cousin marcus came visit us yesterday. We had so much fun, ate good food and most important thing is they spent some time with Carissa. It's been a month since Carissa saw her grandma & auntie. At first she was unsure about them, but after a while I think she remembers her grandma and auntie, so she start smiling and talking to them :)

So note to grandma, grandpa and auntie.. come visit Carissa every week! :) hehehehe

After they left, Carissa finally took her nap for 2 hrs. When she woke up she actually rolled over from her back to her tummy. It might be a fluke but she did it twice and I immediately asked carson to come upstairs and see her rolling over by herself. This is actually the second time she rolled. But the first time she was on a pillow so it doesn't count.

Lovely Sunday

Today mommy finally can go to Des Moines to see AJ :). While Carissa spent some quality time with daddy. He took bunch of pictures but I only posted the one that I like :D hehehe.

I finally got a chance to eat sushi again!! :) I still only eat the cooked one.. :( I miss the raw sushi tho :). Anyway.. I had so much fun in Des Moines.. even tho only couple hours and then I have to head back home to play with my baby girl :).

I'm getting lazy to update Carissa's blog since I'm already back to work and my morning is pretty busy and my night I want to get some rest too.

Princess C is still blowing bubbles all the time, so we have kleenex or paper towels all over the house to wipe the bubbles. Her schedule is pretty consistent but she still wakes up once at night. She naps in the big girl bed in her room, no more bouncer naps. I heard that it's better for her to sleep in motionless rather than sleeping in motion. Hmm...

My morning schedule is pretty consistent too, woke up around 8-ish with her by my side, pump, shower (when needed :D) while she's watching baby einstein dvd or waking up with elmo dvd from my best friend back home. It's funny how she does love watching TV :). Went downstairs, clean up the kitchen, fold the laundry, check my email, etc etc while she's playing in her swing or on her play mat.

And then she will nap around 10:30-11-ish, then she will wake up, eat, and play with daddy till 3 while mommy go to work :).

Alrighty.. mommy need to prepare lunch for daddy and baby. Then I need to get ready for work!! :)

I'm so proud of my baby girl.. she took 2+ oz from the bottle today.. Thanks for Mandy who gave us advices. Carson actually tried most of the advices, the one that works was putting her in her car seat and give her the bottle. Also I bought the fast flow nipple, since they don't have the medium flow so we use the fast one. Seems like the fast flow a little too fast for her so the milk is dripping everywhere and she doesn't like that.

Since she's born as a princess... she doesn't like her shirt dirty so after Carson put a bib on her, she sucks the bottle!! :) good job daddy cars!! :)

Hi everyone, my name is Carissa and I don't like to eat from the bottle!! I actually gave up on her drinking from the bottle thing. Honestly I prefer to stay at home till she can drink from a sippy cup!

People told me to try different bottles & nipples, so far we already tried Playtex Slow Flow, Avent, Breastflow, Playtex Ventaire and I just bought the latex nipple for fast flow since it said for 3-6 mos. baby. We'll see wether she'll take it or not tomorrow.

I just don't like to waste my precious milk.. we ended up throwing away 4 oz of milk every day because she doesn't want to take it.

*sigh* no matter what she does.. we still love her so much... tho I came home from work to a screaming baby.. I still love her.

Today she still refused to take the bottle :( Carson said she only took 1 oz. *sigh* but he said that at least she didn't scream today. I hope she will learn soon that she has to take the bottle otherwise she has to wait till I come home.

My baby girl not quite know how to reach and grab yet, but she knows how to keep holding on her rattle once we put it in her hand. But the weird thing is every time we put the rattle in her hand, she will put the rattle in her mouth right away. Weird huh.. :) I don't think she's teething yet. Ooo and I think she found her fingers too, but not her thumb. Today she sucked 3 of her fingers :) heheh so cute.

Grandpa Andorf stopped by today and see Carissa for a lil bit.. :) She's so happy to see him..

Finally today I opened the 3-6 mos baby clothes box and boxed the NB and 0-3 mos clothes. Since she's already outgrown (most) her 0-3 mos. clothes.

So sad... but happy at the same time.. what every moms said is right.. cherish every single moment because they will grow up too fast.

Today was my first day back to work, work was fun.. glad to see everyone at the office again. While Carissa and her daddy at home, she refused to take the bottle because I think she was way too fussy to learn how to suck the bottle. Tomorrow should be better, since Carson already knows what to do.

But once I got home, she ate and ate and ate :) and then she fell asleep around 4-5pm. Anyway.. glad that everything turned out alright.
