Woohooooo 7 months!!! :) I'm getting bigger and my baby is more active than ever, she rolls around, kicking, punching.. :D

Bell & Andorf Indonesian Baby Shower 4/22/07

Since we don't really have baby shower back home, we decided that we're going to do potluck. So my friend ramona and I kind of host the party together. We made the party favor together, and I made this cute toothpicks for the fruits. :D I will post more pictures from the shower tomorrow after the shower.

Today I went to the dr. appointment for regular check-up and glucose test. Good news.. I passed the glucose test, so I don't have gestational diabetes. But my dr. had to do a surgery, so he was like 20 patients behind. So I didn't get to see him, but I saw another physician instead.

My weight is 119 lbs, and baby heart beat still strong (144 beats per minute). Currently she's laying horizontal, so her head is on my right tummy. My uterus measurement still 2 cm behind, my uterus suppose to be 27 cm since I'm 27 weeks pregnant. But I'm only measuring at 25 cm, she checked on my u/s result and due date seems accurate, but I don't know...

So she will report this to my dr. and if he wants me to do the level-2 ultrasound, someone will call me. Hopefuly everything is okay... I'm kind of worry, so please pray for me and my baby.

Why might I be measuring "small for dates"?
Measuring small for dates means your fundal height is more than 2 centimeters shorter than what's normal for your stage of pregnancy. Your practitioner will probably order an ultrasound to confirm your due date, in case you're not as far along as you thought, and to rule out problems such as intrauterine growth restriction and too little amniotic fluid.

Being small of stature or having well-conditioned abdominal muscles can give you a smaller initial fundal measurement. Or you may have a small, perfectly healthy baby. Some babies are small because their parents are small. But if your baby isn't growing as he should be, you'll have another ultrasound in a few weeks to check on his growth, and frequent monitoring to assess his well-being.

So we just bought some more stuff for cheap!!!

Original price is $80 bucks from Target, and we got it for 20!!! yes twenty bucks :D hahahah so happy...

We have to start savings $254/mo untill she's 18 years old... holy cow... (click on the image to see detail). That if she wants to go to Iowa State Univ. who knows she wants to be a doctor and go to med school.

And then I have to start savings for her, and buy life insurance.. oh no.... *panic mode on*

Look what I got in the mail today!!! Ernita is one of my bestfriends in High School sent us this gift! :) Really nice... we love it. Thanks Ernit!! :)


Oooo and I bid a baby swing from ebay for only $22.50! it's a winnie the pooh swing. So we're going to pick it up tomorrow (since the shipping is 24 bucks) so we prefer to drive there and pick them up.

So yay... !! :)

Another gift for Carissa!!! From Emily.. okay this is kind of strange because I met her online at the baby center forum. I know she lives in town but we never met each other. She has 2 kids and 1 on the way. I think her baby due a week before Carissa. So she's been a great help throughout my first pregnancy. She gave me tips and tricks, and always answer all my questions regarding pregnancy. So I thought, you know... she's nice and she deserve a gift! so I sent her a gift for her baby boy. And suddenly today I got a package from Target! and guess who's this from??!! it's from her!!! thank you so much!!! so so much. It's so cute!!

Yeah!! I'm 26 weeks.. and look.. now we entering 2 digits count down! 98 more days... We're getting there! :). Nothing really new beside I feel so pregnant these days *du-uh* hehehehe. My back is killing me, but good thing Carson always give me a good back rub before I go to bed. He's such a wonderful husband and father-to-be. He reads to Carissa almost every night, he talks to her.

Since I always posted my belly pictures, maybe you want to see how fat I am these days, right??!! :P heheheheh Here's my picture before going to Easter lunch.

Look what Carissa got from grandma and auntie Erica!! :). Awww aren't they the sweetest thing! :) I feel so lucky having the best in-laws ever!!! :) and I know Carissa will be so loved by them! :)

Mama & auntie mony went to Ankeny yesterday, we went to TJ Maxx. Mama still has that 25 bucks gift card that she hasn't used since her birthday from uncle oke & auntie mel. So she decided to buy this cute outfit for me, and a cute outfit for herself :). Oh.. and mama also bought me that 1yr memory book thing that she can put everything about my first year in this world (when I come out).

After that we went to eat at Outback steak house.. YUM!!! mama had steak! and auntie mony had pasta.

It was fun.. these past few days mama said that I moved alot, strong and really active. She even said that she actually can see her stomach buldging when I moved across her tummy.

Yay.. 15 more weeks to go!!! Carissa has been so active.. I think she's a future gymnast! :) I love it when she moves around and so alive in my belly. I can't wait to see her in 15 weeks!! :)

2 more weeks till the Indonesian Baby Shower!! food... yumm food.... This is the perfect time to eat and eat and eat.
