Carissa's Blog

2 Months Check-Up

We just got back from the dr. appointment. She weigh 10 lbs 11 oz, and grew couple inches, her head is 40 cm diameter now.

She got 6 shots today, well I think 5 shots and 1 oral. She didn't like it at all, when the first needle poked her she screamed her lungs out, I didn't cry because I was busy distracting her.. anyway I keep in mind that she won't remember the pain and she does need these vaccinations.

Once all the shots given, I tried to console her.. she kept on screaming for about uhm.. 5 mins and then I nurse her.. she settled down after that.

Now she's swaddled and taking her nap... peacefully. I thought this shots will be harder on me than Carson.. but seems the other way around... :D what a good daddy.

Next vaccinations.. 4 mos. check-up. *sigh* better not to think about it.
