Great Aunt

Last week, Carissa got a chance to meet one of her great aunts from Carson's side of family. We had lunch at Hickory Park. Nice to finally meet her, I even never met her before. :)

Here's a picture of Carissa with her great aunt michelle.

my my my
that's a beautiful pair of
happy ladies to gaze at...
who is holding on to who....
great auntie & great neice
...happy finally reunion together

think the olde mountain folk say
when you hold&hug&kiss your own kin
you unlock& pass on the code of all
your dna & rna
....of all your ancestors
back to the beginning of time
instantly connecting the cells of the andorf/noltensmeier/mcdermott/seery
the family tree all together again

may carissa have the chance to pass it on many times
as she becomes a woman/mother/granny/great auntie

the best is yet to come
